Have you heard that?  I have and usually the thought behind that is not very deep.  How many times have you as a web developer or designer been approached with a user that wants but has no clue exactly what they want.

I know as a professional I have to help as much as possible to tunnel all my users grand ideas into something usable and still "cool", but some users make this a little harder than others.

So long and short of it, I love this cartoon, and can relate.  I'm pretty sure most of you can too.

Well this is the first blog entry of CornerPixel's hope to be long life.  I have tried DasBlog in hopes that it will work as a good blogging software option.  Well I guess I will see.

Okay a little on CornerPixel.  About a month and a half ago I was thinking about starting a site where I can post all sorts of good things to help those who design and develop websites.  I am always finding out new things and would love to let others know. 

Why the title CornerPixel.  Well I was going for Cornerstone but decided that the web is not made up of stones but of pixels.  So hence the name.  I want this to be the CornerPixel of web design and development.  I love web standards and hope to teach them to all that are interested.  I also do a lot of work with CMS's.  Most don't spit out very standards nice markup.  My other goal with this site is to help those who use CMS's to do their best to "skin" and "theme" their CMS's as standard as possible.  The CMS I mostly work with is DotNetNuke and Blackbaud Netcommunity, but I am looking into Umbraco and have done some work with Exponent.

Well for a while things here will be shabby, but hey they will get better.  Stick around for the ride.
